Job summary

Lifepoint Health® seeks an Ultrasound Technician in Kennewick, Washington. This union position offers a PRN work schedule and the chance to provide exceptional patient care. How you’ll contribute

An Ultrasound Technician Who Excels In This Role

  • Performs sonographic examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician.
  • Provides age‑appropriate care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Maintains supplies and ensures a clean, orderly work area; notifies supervisor of needed items.
  • Maintains and calibrates equipment to ensure accuracy and longevity.
  • Acts as a consultant and educational resource for physicians and staff regarding appropriateness and accuracy of scans.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for
  • Education: Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.
  • Experience: One year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred.
  • License / Certifications: Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification; BLS required within 30 days of hire.
