Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in Dallas, TX seeks a results-driven Medical Sales Representative to grow accounts and strengthen clinician relationships.

You’ll present Merit products, coordinate with marketing, and tailor solutions to meet provider needs across hospitals and clinics. The role demands at least three years in medical sales, outstanding presentation and communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience equivalent to a related Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of three years of direct sales experience, preferably in selling medical products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and to understand the needs of others in a sales relationship.
• A high degree of personal motivation and drive to achieve personal and professional goals.
• Excellent oral presentation skills and the ability to think quickly to apply facts in analyzing a problem and explaining that answer to a group of medical technicians and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains close relationships with new clients and existing accounts by meeting regularly, presenting Merit products, and identifying opportunities.
• Coordinate with Merit marketing and sales staff to ensure timely shipment and feedback on product needs.
• Prepare pricing contracts and follow up with clients to increase sales volume and profitability.
• Travel to perform sales duties and participate in trainings and meetings to learn about new products.
