Capital Health is seeking a part-time Cardiac Monitor Clerk for the Telemetry Command Center in Hopewell, NJ. The role involves placing patients on telemetry, maintaining monitoring logs, and coordinating with nursing staff during high-acuity events.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency; CRAT or CET within 18 months of hire.
• Experience: Previous experience as a cardiac monitor clerk.
• Credentials: AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

• Place patients on telemetry equipment with proper skin prep and electrode placement.
• Maintain rhythm strips and logs according to unit policies and audits.
• Admit/discharge patients in the telemetry system and monitor patients off unit for testing.
• Notify RN for life-threatening arrhythmias and initiate Code Blue per policy.
• Assist in training and orientation of new monitor technicians.

Education
