Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities required.
• Ability to learn basic medical terminology, mathematics and measurements.
• Demonstrates competency in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms.
• Experience with telemetered monitoring and data recording is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and record pertinent data per physician orders and RN supervision.
• Report abnormalities to the medical team promptly.
• Apply knowledge of age-related needs from neonate to adolescent in practice.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in interactions with coworkers, patients, and families.
• Follow Connecticut Children’s policies and procedures and support the organization’s mission and values.
