Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms on monitor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient rhythms and dysrhythmias continuously.
• Assign telemetry boxes and input patient demographics.
• Record admissions and review alarm limits; respond to alarms.
• Communicate significant rhythm changes to nursing staff and physicians.
• Maintain clean monitor station and report malfunctions.
