Allina Health's United Hospital United Cardiac Medicine unit is seeking a part-time RN to join a 40-bed unit focused on telemetry and cardiology care. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and collaboration with family and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional growth, and potential opportunities as Charge Nurse or Preceptor. Requires MN RN license; BLS/ACLS as appropriate; 8-hour day/evening shifts with 32 hours

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required.
• 1-2 years RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 0-2 years cardiac, telemetry, or critical care RN experience preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if MN work; WI license if WI work.
• BLS/ACLS certification required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; planning, coordinating and evaluating care.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high-quality patient care.
• Apply evidence-based nursing practice in line with current statutes and regulations.
• Establish measurable patient outcomes with patient and family; ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate, collaborate, and delegate to ensure safe, effective care.
• Fulfill organizational requirements; may act as Charge Nurse or Preceptor as needed.
