Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Cardiac Telemetry unit. The role involves planning and delivering professional nursing care, while assuming charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

The position requires nursing licensure in NC or a compact state, with both Associate and preferred Bachelor’s degree backgrounds considered. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in NC or a compact state is required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers professional nursing care per hospital policies.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Assesses patient needs and organizes care accordingly.
• Administers medications as ordered by physician within scope of practice.
• Maintains accurate patient care records.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Responds to life-threatening situations promptly and appropriately.
• Supports patients' cultural and spiritual beliefs within medical guidelines.
