Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for 6 South Medical Telemetry in Fayetteville, NC. The unit focuses on respiratory and cardiac care with a 36-bed capacity and a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio. Must hold NC RN licensure (or compact) and have an ADN; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires nursing degree and NC RN licensure (or compact state)
• Preferred BSN
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and identify care needs
• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, quality care
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor patient status
