Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Completes daily patient assignments.
• Rounds with physicians and acts as point of contact for staff and administrators.
• Serves as resource to staff nurses, nursing assistants, monitors techs, and unit secretaries.
• Assists with procedures and checks orders.
• Conducts daily QC and equipment checks on the unit.
• Evaluates daily patient acuity and participates in staffing decisions.
• Supports clinical education of staff and participates in discharge planning.
• Interfaces with Care Coordinator and Patient Placement.
