Job summary

Allina Health's United Cardiac Medicine Unit seeks an RN for part-time nights in the United Hospital system. The 40-bed unit provides telemetry and med-surg care for cardiac patients, with procedures such as NSTEMI interventions, pacemaker placements, and cardioversions. The role emphasizes collaborative care and ongoing professional growth.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years RN experience, an associate or vocational degree, and MN or WI RN licensure. ACLS/ALS or in-house ACLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Required: Associate's or Vocational degree.
• 1-2 years RN experience.
• Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing or WI DSPS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish outcomes and plan of care.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing care; modify plan as needed.
• Collaborate with family and patient to set realistic outcomes and ensure safety.
• Mentor and precept staff; support charge nurse role when applicable.
• Perform roles as assigned, including preceptor or charge nurse duties when needed.
