Job summary

Allina Health in Saint Paul, MN, is seeking an RN for Cardiac Care on a part-time basis in a tele/stepdown unit. The role focuses on cardiovascular patients with a 32-bed unit, averaging LOS 2-6 days, and requires evening shifts with every other weekend rotation.

The successful candidate will join a learning-focused team, participate in ongoing education, and provide high-quality care while coordinating with families and the care team. Acute care and telemetry experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Telemetry experience preferred for cardiac telemetry units.
• Licensed RN with ACLS/ALS or in-house ACLS training as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Supervise and delegate tasks as appropriate on the unit.
