Job summary

Prime Healthcare Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor for Cardiac Telemetry. The role supports administrative functions, collaborates with leadership, and ensures department performance improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license on hire.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required on hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nursing Supervisor supports administrative responsibility for the department services and collaborates with the unit Director and Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel; communicates with staff, physicians, and administration.
• Directs and evaluates personnel, ensures efficient use of time, equipment and staff, and adjusts the plan of care as needed.
