Job summary

Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Clinical Nursing Supervisor to lead the Cardiac Telemetry unit. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure high-quality patient care across shifts.

Responsibilities include developing departmental plans, orienting and training personnel, and collaborating with the unit Director. A RN license with BLS/ACLS and 2+ years in nursing, including 1 year in leadership, are required.

Qualifications

Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations.
Prepares, conducts and/or oversees department orientation and training of personnel.
Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsibility and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift.
