Job summary

AdventHealth Riverview, FL is seeking a skilled Telemetry Monitor Technician to support our cardiac monitoring unit. You will observe ECG patterns, document findings, and alert nursing staff to abnormalities while maintaining telemetry printouts and equipment sanitation.

Candidates should have monitor tech experience or completion of AdventHealth Monitor Technician training, strong English communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Basic EKG knowledge and telemetry monitoring experience preferred.
• 1+ monitor tech experience preferred.
• Care coordination and effective communication with healthcare team.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Observes monitors, recognizes abnormal ECG patterns, and notifies nursing staff.
• Maintains telemetry printouts and monitors alarms per policy.
• Documents in accordance with department policy and quality standards.
• Participates in education and training to stay current with procedures.
• Ensures clean, organized work environment and proper equipment sanitation.
