Qualifications

• Monitor tech experience preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with patients and the public in challenging situations.
• Previous hospital experience preferred.
• Completion of basic arrhythmias identification course.
• Good oral and written communication; can prioritize multiple duties.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and arrhythmia identification.
• Willing to complete competency checks within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Observe monitors and document telemetry findings per policy.
• Notify nursing staff of abnormalities and document events.
• Maintain monitor alarms and ensure audible alerts per shift.
• Support performance improvement and stay current with best practices.
