Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Cardiac Medical Telemetry at Highland Park Hospital. The role supports RN/LPN staff with direct patient care, safety, and comfort on the unit, including vital signs, ADLs, and patient mobility.

This full-time night shift position offers rotating weekends and a 32-hour work week, with responsibilities ranging from hourly rounding to assistance with admissions and discharge coordination.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• CNA training course preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, and perform hourly rounding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and use Safe Patient Handling equipment.
• Provide basic nursing care (bathing, grooming, oral care, feeding) under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and room transfers; orient patients to rooms.
• Document patient care activities, vital signs, intake/output, and glucose testing as directed.
