Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join the Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL. You will work night shifts with rotating weekends to support RN/LPN staff in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care on a busy telemetry floor.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to hospital policies while performing vital caregiving tasks and documentation. Eligible US work status and CNA background are preferred; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited certified nursing assistant (CNA) training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors; respond to call lights and phones.
• Perform hourly rounding on assigned patients.
• Assist with safe handling, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Provide basic ADL support under RN/LPN supervision.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transports.
