Endeavor Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit in Glenview, KY. The role involves assisting with patient care tasks under RN/LPN direction, performing ADLs, vital signs, and safe handling procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.

The position requires CNA training and a current BLS certification, with no prior experience required. Night shift with rotating weekends and a 36-hour work week are available.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the US.
• Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred.
• Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors, answer call lights and phones, provide hourly rounding.
• Learn and assist with Safe Patient Handling, ambulation, and transfers as directed by RN/LPN.
• Provide basic nursing care: ADLs, bathing, grooming, feeding, bed making, and patient comfort.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers, including room setup and patient orientation.
• Document care activities and notify nurses of changes; follow safety and infection control policies.
• Support the nursing team with routine department tasks and restock supplies.
