Job summary

Endeavor Health's Glenview location is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Cardiac Post Procedural Medical Telemetry unit. The role supports RN/LPN staff, delivers basic nursing tasks, and ensures patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include hourly rounding, ADL support, and documentation; candidates must have BLS and CNA training preferred. The position offers full time night shifts with rotating weekends and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for Healthcare Provider is required.
• Completion of CNA training preferred or equivalent.
• Nursing clinical rotation in medical/surgical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs, vital signs, and routine care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Perform hourly rounding and respond to call lights and alarms.
• Assist with safe patient handling, ambulation, and repositioning.
• Help with admissions, discharges, and transfers and patient/family orientation.
• Document care activities and communicate changes to the nursing team.
