Cardiac Sonographer, First Shift, Echo Lab

UC Health is hiring a full-time Cardiac Sonographer for the echo lab for First-Shift at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. We’re offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus!

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform all echocardiographic diagnostic modalities using various equipment to accurately assess cardiac function, anatomy, physiology, and flow parameters.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a two-year Allied Health degree and a 12-month CAAHEP-approved program in Ultrasound or Cardiovascular Technology. Must acquire ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac ultrasound (RDCS or RCS).
  • License and Certifications: ARDMS/CCI certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Experience: Clinical hours required to be registry eligible.
  • Knowledge of current echocardiography practices, including technical, cognitive, interpersonal, and communication skills for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients.
