Job description

Position Summary

The Cardiac Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic imaging for our patients and families with respect, compassion, and sensitivity to their age-specific needs, regardless of gender, culture, religion, or socioeconomic background.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform Echocardiograms including M Mode, 2-D Doppler, Color Flow, TEE, contrast, and bubble studies in our IAC-accredited Echo lab.
  2. Be competent and knowledgeable of cardiac pathology and procedures to educate and instruct staff, students, and patients with expertise and precision.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Registered (CCI), (RDCS), or registry eligible.
  • Experience in 2-D, Doppler, color flow, and transesophageal echo.
  • Ability to work professionally and independently under broad supervision, and to be resourceful in emergencies.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
