Job summary

We seek an Echocardiography Technologist to perform 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and Doppler tests on adult and geriatric patients. Required credentials include RDCS ARDMS or RCS/RCCS/CRCS or ACS with American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• An appropriate credential in echocardiography:
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED

• Membership in professional society or societies related to the field of sonography.
• Graduate of an accredited sonography or cardiovascular technology program.
