Job summary

Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment and perform clinical diagnostic exams per established standards.

The role requires completion of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with BCLS certification; no prior experience is required, but solid knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and adherence to ACR guidelines are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is required.
• No experience required; strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is essential.
• Must perform quality ultrasound exams in accordance with Piedmont and ACR standards.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
