Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasounds and invasive procedures, ensuring patient care across diverse age groups. You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings, and collaborate with radiology staff to support accurate diagnoses.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with BCLS certification on hire; no prior experience is required, and a sign-on bonus is available to eligible

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
