Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our imaging team. You will operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams and contribute to high-quality patient care across all ages.

No experience is required for this role. AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduates are welcome; BCLS certification is required upon hire. We offer a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams.
• Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.
• Provides patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.

Responsibilities:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
