Job Summary

We are seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to support patients and providers by using ultrasound imaging technologies to aid in diagnosing and treating cardiac conditions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Complete timely and thorough vascular scans and documentation.
2. Ensure accurate documentation and measurements for procedures and studies.
3. Prepare paperwork for each study and ensure all necessary documentation is available.
4. Maintain a neat and clean working environment, stock rooms, and ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
5. Perform add-on studies as requested by providers.
6. Complete monthly ICAVL reporting.

Job Eligibility Requirements

Education

• Graduate or completion of a program meeting eligibility requirements for registry/certification, or currently hold required registry or certification.

Experience

• Experience beyond education/certification is not required.
• Level I: Must obtain ARDMS certifications within 18 months of employment.
• Level II: Minimum of two years' experience as a Sonographer.
• Level III: Minimum of 4 years' experience within the specialty modality.

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification

• ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography.
• ARDMS/CCI certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
