Qualifications

• Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• Six months previous experience as Monitor Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE/EMR.
• Verify that lab and radiology tests are ordered and completed.
• Prepare and complete patient charts and department records daily.
• Order supplies for the unit and assist nursing staff with indirect patient care as needed.
