Job summary

The role requires active CNA-friendly status with potential direct support under RN supervision. The ideal candidate has a high school credential, a valid Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate, a current BLS certificate, and at least 1 year of experience as a Monitor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for all new hires.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Six months previous experience as Monitor Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors.
• Transcribes physician orders in the absence of CPOE and EMR clinical documentation system.
• Verifies that lab tests and radiology tests have been ordered and done.
• Prepares and complies records in the ER; orders supplies and maintains patient charts.
• Assists nursing staff with indirect patient care as directed by RN supervision and CNA credentials.
