Job summary

San Dimas Community Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Monitor Tech to support telemetry patients on the night shift. You will monitor cardiac rhythms, transcribe orders, verify tests, and prepare patient records under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, a current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate, BLS, and at least six months of healthcare experience. This role offers collaborative teamwork in a respected community hospital.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for all new hires.
• Current Dysrhythmia Interpretation Certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Six months previous experience in Healthcare or as Monitor Technician.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac monitors in the unit.
• Transcribe physician orders in absence of CPOE/EMR systems.
• Verify labs and radiology tests are ordered and completed.
• Prepare and compile patient records and charts daily.
• Order supplies for the unit and assist RN with indirect patient care as needed.
