Abbott is seeking a field-based Medical Device Sales Representative for the CRM Cardiac Rhythm Management division. The role targets physicians, labs, distributors, and hospitals in a Houston, TX area under a national US remote model.

You will promote Abbott medical devices, develop accounts, provide clinician training, and analyze market data to grow product lines while maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• Two or more years of sales or clinical support in a healthcare setting.
• Aptitude to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
• Ability to lead others effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with medical device industry policies, operations, and procedures.
• Proven ability to influence customer decisions in sales/marketing.
• Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers including physicians and hospital staff.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with common PC programs and applications.

Responsibilities

• Contact, visit, and educate clients and potential clients on Abbott products.
• Build and execute business plans to identify and develop new accounts.
• Provide medical professionals with information and training on product use.
• Ensure all relevant patient information is forwarded when required.
• Manage inventory within the assigned territory.
• Collect and study information about new and existing products and monitor competitors.
