Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Post CTICU at RWJ New Brunswick. The position supports daytime shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
with weekend and holiday rotations, working 36 hours per week to deliver high-quality patient care and family-centered support. The role requires NJ RN license, BLS; Bachelor's preferred or within 5 years; ACLS preferred; 1–2 years acute care; EPIC EMR experience.
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or to obtain within 6 months.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred or to be completed within 5 years.
- 1-2 years of RN acute care experience preferred.
- Experience with EMR systems (EPIC).
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care in the Cardiac Post CTICU.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care and monitor vitals and progress.
