RWJBarnabas Health's Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Post CTICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity team in Newark, NJ. The role emphasizes patient assessment, evidence-based care, and collaboration with physicians to ensure safe transitions.

The schedule is full-time, day shift, with every other weekend required. A NJ RN license and BLS are required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred, with EPIC EMR experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing or Multistate RN with NJ endorsement.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred; cardiac post-CTICU experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and treatments with sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced providers for coordinated care decisions.
• Educate patients and families to prepare for ongoing care.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
• Participate in rounds to support safe transfers and continuity of care.
• Support ongoing professional growth through education and ladder opportunities.
