Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Clinical Assistant Nurse Manager (CANM) to lead shift operations in the Clinical Decision Unit. The CANM ensures high-quality care, optimal patient flow, and excellent patient/family experience while coordinating with Nursing Operations leadership.

The role requires RN licensure in Florida (or NLC), BLS, and BSN preferred, with ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC certifications benefiting the position. Night shifts available with differential pay.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Current Florida RN licensure or NLC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Certifications in area of expertise preferred (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC).

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations to ensure high-quality care and patient flow.
• Coordinate patient care assignments with nursing leadership and care coordinators.
• Monitor patient status and ensure compliance with physician orders and policies.
• Support frontline team members and promote safe, efficient care delivery.
• Participate in safety huddles and contribute to performance/quality improvement.
