Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, located in Virginia Beach, VA, is hiring a Part-time Patient Care Technician for the 2 West Cardiac Medicine telemetry unit. You will work the night shift under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to deliver delegated aspects of nursing care.

Required is a High School Diploma or equivalent, and BLS within 90 days of hire. CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or Navy Hospital Corps School pathways are accepted; one year of health care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent healthcare credentials accepted.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes and ensure patient safety.
• Observe patients and report changes to the nurse.
