Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma.
• One of the following certifications: Sentara Care Partner Certification Program, CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, Navy Hospital Corps School/EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT/Paramedic, or current clinical student with at least one semester completed.
• 1 year of hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Follow patient safety practices as directed by the nurse.
