Job summary

Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Pre/Post RN through Banner Staffing Services-AZ. Shifts are 12 hours, from 5:30am to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday. Must have RN license and BLS, with at least 1 year in Preop PACU or Procedural RN and anesthesia recovery experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state of practice or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Preop PACU or Procedural RN.
• Experience with anesthesia recovery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social and discharge planning.
• Formulate and implement a care plan with input from patient/family and health team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities and ensure adherence to policy and standards.
• Document care plans, interventions and patient response accurately.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans as needed.
• Participate in education and mentoring to support team performance.
