Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a Cardiac Cath Registered Nurse in CARES, performing TEE, Cardioversion, Stress, Tilts and Loops in a fast-paced procedural unit.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in Preop PACU, Cath Lab, or procedural RN experience; RN license and BLS certification are required. Schedule is 4 10-hour shifts, 6am-4:30pm, with no current call or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Preop PACU, Cath Lab or Procedural RN.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs across domains and plans discharge.
• Formulates a care plan with patient/family and health team input.
• Implements care with direct patient care, coordination and supervision.
• Evaluates patient progress and revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in the patient record.
• Participates in evidence-based practice and staff education.
• Promotes quality and safety in patient care and outcomes.
• May supervise staff and workflow within the department.
• Communicates with physicians, patients and families to coordinate care.
