Banner Surgery Center – Chandler in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a part-time PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing and documenting nursing care for surgical patients according to professional standards.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $2,500 and value integrity, teamwork, and patient service. Minimum qualifications include AZ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and PreOp/PACU experience, with Perianesthesia Academy opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Current RN license in state of practice; compact licensure accepted.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days if ASC pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): 1+ year licensed RN experience in PreOp/PACU.
• New RN enrolled in Perianesthesia Academy with completion within 4 months.
• PRN: 2+ years RN experience in PreOp/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan of care from admission through discharge.
• Develop and revise plans of care with input from patient/family and team.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team.
• Document care and patient response in the medical record.
• Communicate status and needs clearly to care partners and physicians.
• Support quality improvement and professional development activities.
