Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee is seeking a PACU Nurse to deliver high-quality post-operative care, manage airway support, monitor neuro-cardiac status, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams. On-call availability during select non-business hours will be discussed at the interview.

You will collaborate with RN staff and leadership to ensure patient safety, participate in rounding for feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement of patient care.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RN Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor's, Associate, or Master's Degree as applicable.
• At least 1 year of critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU) required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be an integral member of an interdisciplinary team with providers and therapy staff.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
