Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of operating room experience scrubbing within the last two years required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Surgical Technologist Certificate to be completed within 3 months of hire from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during procedures and prepare/ position patients.
• Assist in obtaining tissue specimens and in new technique development.
• Follow standard infection control procedures and maintain sterilized instruments.
