Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a CVOR Anesthesia Technician to support the cardiac anesthesia team in a fast-paced operative environment. You will assist with anesthesia administration and monitoring, and work closely with anesthesiologists to ensure patient safety and precision in line placement.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, testing and maintaining devices, and supporting the cardiac surgery team through the operative continuum.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One year of CVOR Anesthesia Technician experience.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cardiac anesthesiologist with administration and monitoring of anesthesia.
• Support anesthesiologists and mid-levels with invasive and non-invasive monitoring.
• Assist with advanced line preparation and placement.
• Provide equipment testing, calibration, troubleshooting, cleaning and disinfection.
• Assist all members of the cardiac surgery team throughout the operative continuum.
