Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for full-time night shifts (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends in a 26-bed cardiac step-down unit. You’ll work within the Northwestern Medicine system, part of the BCVI, delivering advanced cardiac care in a suburban setting.

Required BSN and Illinois RN license, with BLS. Preferred experience in cardiac care and opportunities for development, including tuition/loan programs and a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current State of Illinois RN license.
• BSN or ADN pathway with commitment to obtain BSN.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill adults using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with patients, families and health team members.
• Document plans and progress; participate in governance and unit projects.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Use best available evidence to guide practice decisions.
