Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required; IL RN license.
• BLS certification required.

• Experience in stepdown units preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, plans care, coordinates delivery, and evaluates progress.
• Directs care and determines appropriate utilization of any assistant involved in direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to document plan focused on outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing interventions and updates the plan of care.
• Uses evidence-based practice to guide nursing decisions.
