Job summary

Allina Health in Minneapolis seeks an experienced RN to provide cardiovascular care in a 8-hour day/evening shift. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, planning and coordinating care for a telemetry/cardiac unit.

Minimum 4 years in the last 3 years is required for some tiers, with ACLS or in-house ACLS training and BLS at hire. This is a 0.7 FTE position with occasional weekend rotations and a strong focus on patient safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate's or vocational RN degree with 1–2 years of RN experience.
• BLS active at hire; ACLS preferred or obtainable within 2 months.
• Experience in critical care or telemetry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs and outcomes.
• Develop and modify the plan of care with nursing judgment.
• Coordinate with family, patient, and team to ensure safe care.
• Supervise progress and adjust care plans as needed.
