Allina Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Mercy 4 Heart with 2+ years of acute care experience, including cardiac telemetry and open-heart exposure. The role involves day/evening shifts, 0.7 FTE, and every-other weekend rotation in Minnesota.

The ideal candidate will hold Minnesota licensure, ACLS or equivalent, and demonstrate ability to coordinate care and educate patients and families within a cardiovascular unit. Competitive pay and strong benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Tier 1 requires 2+ years RN experience in acute care with Cardiac/Telemetry in past year, plus CCU/Open-Heart experience.
• Tier 2 requires 1+ year RN acute care with Cardiac/Telemetry in past year; CCU/Open-Heart preferred.
• Tier 3 up to 1 year RN experience; Cardiac/Telemetry in past year required.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; establish outcomes and plan of care.
• Supervise progress and modify plan as needed.
• Coordinate and delegate to ensure safe, effective care.
• Establish realistic patient outcomes with nursing diagnoses and continuity planning.
• Fulfills organizational requirements; role includes Charge Nurse/Preceptor duties as assigned.
