Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) in Cardiac Imaging for a full-time day shift. You will provide patient-centered care, evaluate patient needs, and collaborate with the imaging team to support non-invasive testing and telemetry monitoring.

The ideal candidate has acute/critical care experience, Iowa RN license (or compact state), BLS and ACLS, with BSN preferred. Training and education opportunities are emphasized as part of Mercy's compassionate care model.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or within 3 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care/critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate information during handoffs to ensure patient safety.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the patient care plan.
• Document nursing care in real time per policy and procedure.
• Work within the Cardiac Imaging team handling non-invasive testing and monitoring.
