Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in Iowa or compact state required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult Abuse/Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient information at handoffs to ensure safe outcomes.
• Performs assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient plans of care.
• Maintains real-time documentation of nursing care.
• Delivers education to patients and families.
• Directs other staff in provision of care as assigned.
