Job summary

ThedaCare in Appleton, WI, is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Appleton ICU. You will provide direct care to critically ill patients, manage ventilation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on 12-hour rotating shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.

Eligible candidates must hold Wisconsin RN or compact licensure; BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire. BSN must be completed within five years if not already held.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN or compact licensure required on hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications within 6 months of hire date.
• Physical ability to move, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including ventilatory support and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment protocols.
• Perform assessments and document changes in patient condition in the EHR.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members on care plans.
• Respond to code situations with CPR, defibrillation, and advanced airway management.
