Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking an ICU RN for the Appleton ICU. You will provide direct care to critically ill patients in a 22-bed unit, often on ventilators with vasoactive drips. Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN licensure
• BSN required within five years of hire
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within six months of hire
• Ability to move, stand, lift up to 50 pounds and perform patient care procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients in ICU
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products
• Monitor vital signs and hemodynamics
• Assist with procedures (central line, intubation)
• Document care in electronic records and collaborate with team
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans
