Job summary

Griffin Hospital is seeking a full-time Surgical Scheduler for the Cardiac EP office. The role involves coordinating surgical bookings, patient scheduling, and pre-admission processes in a busy clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a medical office, strong customer service, and experience with EHR systems to support seamless patient care and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years administrative experience in a medical office.
• Experience with surgical booking and medical billing required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience working with electronic health records required.
• Must possess strong customer service skills and must be able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly and professionally; greet patients and visitors.
• Coordinate surgical appointments with Griffin Hospital operating room and Interventional Radiology Suite.
• Arrange pre-admission testing with medical clearance and informed consent.
• Coordinate pre-operative and post-operative appointments; obtain prior authorizations as needed.
• Assist the practice manager with general clerical tasks and office operations.
